Antique-inspired Dala Horse "Redmane", hand-carved and hand-painted in Sweden. This is a limited edition 🐎

Antique horses are inestimable treasures in Scandinavian and Swedish history. From simple homemade toys for the Vikings' children, the horses have become invaluable culture carriers in museums and desirable collectibles.

The original Blue-legged Dala horse was created by Rytter Olof Matsson in the 19th century (between 1880-1890). Born in 1868 in Risa, Sweden, Olof is now the most famous painter from the Rytter family. His main hallmark is the "blue-legged" Dala horse.

Recycled wood is used for the production of the horses and all the paints used are certified as safe for the environment. All Dala horses are hand-carved and handmade.
