Elegant vintage Dala horses, with unique colors and patterns, hand-crafted in Sweden, Dalarna, in the 1950s.

The Dala horse is a traditional carved, painted wooden statue of a horse originating in the Swedish province of Dalarna. In the old days, it was mainly used as a toy for children, while in modern times, it has become a symbol of Dalarna, as well as of Sweden in general.

- the Huge Dala horse: 20.5cm (8.07") height
- the smaller Dala horse: 13.0cm (5.11") height

- Check the photos for the best examination. The bigger Dala horse had her head and one leg glued back together, which adds to her charm!

Recycled wood is used for the production of the horses and all the paints used are certified as safe for the environment. All Dala horses are hand-carved and handmade.
